We are Amy Barrington and Ed Ham.  We have been married for 24 years.  Yes, the different last names are confusing -- just ask our daughter who got stuck with a hyphenated last name.  : )  We're both born and bred Carolinians, but we lived in Denver, Colorado, for a year immediately following college and loved it. 

Ed is a software engineer working within the telecommunications field, and I am enjoying a new career as a writer.  Previously, I worked in healthcare administration as well as pharmaceutical clinical trials and data management.  I enjoyed those environments quite a bit!  However, I am very pleased to have the time available to devote now to writing and other pursuits as J directs. 

Our first introduction to ACIM was in 2004.  We discovered it by way of a book study sponsored by the Unity Church of the Triangle and led by Neusom Holmes.  The book we read as a group was Gary Renard's Disappearance of the Universe, which for us was a natural and welcomed introduction to the Course.

Since our initial taste of ACIM, we have had the great pleasure of attending as well as facilitating ACIM study groups in the Triangle area of NC.  We are very grateful to our friends who have helped us explore and learn the Course's ideas, as these opportunities for discussion and sharing have greatly aided us on our path Home together!
